Oxbow Meteor Kit (Puppyhammer)

Fit and sizing is everything with Oxbows (puppyhammers :P )
If it's too long, the hammer hits the ground. If it's too short, the poi are virtually unusable.
The LanternSmith Oxbow Kit is designed to make sizing quick and simple, as well as providing easy adjustability for future tweaks. All you need is a screwdriver.

The Kit:

• 4 adjustable NodePills.

• 10 feet of Smithy Rope.

• 2 low-profile V2 "Softie" Ovo heads;

• The option of Coreless or Cartridge-based mass inserts that allow for easy adjustability in length and weight (125g thru 250g per side)

•  Specifiable color for each node, head, and the tether.

The Ovo Head System (New V2 "Softie" Variant - Cartridge & Coreless Options)

• Made with our new V2 Ovo silicone for improved durability and softer impacts.

• Small - 2 inches (50mm) diameter X 4 inches (100mm) long. Optimal fit in the hands for dart and rope modes. 

• Optimized for aerodynamics in high-speed modes of play: Dart/clock/meteor/contact styles; Less energy required to keep the hammer gliding/coasting.

Core & Mass Options

Kit includes Ovo style head Umoja Cartridge System or Coreless "Ultrasoft" with adjustable weight. 

While all color options other than clear are V2 Ovos, each core option has it's own features. 

Coreless heads are even softer (less painful) than Cartridge heads, and are adjustable by weight up to 170g - a very popular mass that Lanternsmith has found to be the optimal balance of energy retention and control in all modes of play.

The Cartridge heads are harder and are adjustable by weight from where the Coreless design stops, 170g, up to 230g, which is useful for simulating the mass of fire-hammers. 

The Coreless option has also been found to further improve durability. 

The Rope:

.25 inch (6.5mm) 12-strand braided Smithy rope for poi, darts, hammers, etc.

This rope is specifically designed for an optimal compromise between feel, aerodynamics, customizability/adjustability, color selection (10 vivid colors), and all-round playability. It has good abrasion and UV/sunlight resistance; it won't shrink, has low-stretch properties, and high breaking strength.
It can be cut normally, and the ends may be melted to prevent fraying.
